Background & Rarity

This early Baton Rouge U7S soprano ukulele was crafted circa 2010–2012, well before the brand’s redesign and production shift in later years.

It features a beautifully feathered mango wood grain on the back — a tone wood choice that was far less common at the time and rarely seen in this condition today.

This instrument also predates Baton Rouge’s entry into UK retail, arriving just before wider distribution began in 2012 via selected independent music shops. As such, it's one of the earlier and rarer UK examples, making it a particularly desirable piece for collectors and enthusiasts.

Still in fully original condition, it shows no wear, damage, or modification, and offers a higher build standard seen in Baton Rouge’s early line up.
