2023 Charity Fundraising

During 2023 we raised money for

Blackpool Haematology Unit.

With your help we raised a whopping £703.99

When my dad was diagnosed with Myeloma he was so poorly, it was thought that he would not survive the weekend.

Thanks to the Haematology Team at Blackpool Victoria Hospital we had a further 16 months with my dad to make the last of our memories.

This year we chose to raise funds to go towards their blood gas machine they require which is £20,000.

Our live entertainment charity night - us with friends forming a 6-piece band covering songs from the 50s, 60s & 70’s.

2022 Charity Fundraising

During 2022 we raised money for Myeloma UK. The only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma who receive no Government funding and rely entirely on voluntary donations and fundraising.

With your help we raised a whopping £1809.45

Our chosen charity to support is very personal due to Alyson’s dad being diagnosed in May 2021 with a rare form of terminal cancer known as Multiple Myeloma, sadly Alyson’s dad passed away in September 2022.

Myeloma is a rare incurable (terminal) blood cancer and accounts for only 2% of all cancers.
