‘Conqueror’ Stromberg-Voisinet Banjo Ukulele

Stromberg-Voisinet crafted banjo ukuleles between 1928 and 1931. This model, the ‘Conqueror’ is C.1930 bottom tension. They represent good value for money as they were extremely well made.

They are known for producing a superb sound which is similar in strength, tone, resonance and sustain to that of a Gibson banjo ukulele but without the price tag.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Walnut peghead with mother of pearl fleur-de-lis inlay and mother of pearl ‘conqueror’ name

  • Grover simplex tuning pegs with iveroid buttons

  • Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays

  • Maple neck and body, finished in a mahogany stain

  • ‘Dentil’ marquetry inlays to the back, side and top of the resonator

  • Hardware is the same as a Gibson banjo ukulele with diamond cut outs

  • Waverly tailpiece

  • Comes with hard shell case.
