A beautifully crafted modern interpretation of the legendary Abbott design, hand built by Phil Cartwright in October 2017. This faithful interpretation combines traditional styling with modern craftsmanship.
This lovely gold-plated instrument delivers the bright and responsive tone that players expect from a quality Abbott-inspired banjo ukulele, making it equally at home for George Formby style playing, fingerpicking or general performance.
It remains in good overall condition and is supplied with its original Phil Cartwright fitted hard case, lined in attractive emerald green crushed velvet.
Whilst showing honest signs of use, this hand-built banjo ukulele represents an excellent opportunity to own a quality Abbott-inspired instrument. It has been left exactly as received, in accordance with the owner's instructions, giving its next owner the opportunity to carry out any changes to suit their own preferences.
One of its standout features is the beautifully crafted 21-piece neck, demonstrating the care and attention that has gone into the construction of this particular instrument. Combined with its bright, responsive tone, it has plenty of potential to become a long-term keeper.

Condition:
Overall, the instrument is in good condition with excellent playability.
It shows honest signs of use. However, this is minor and do not detract from the instrument's structural integrity, playability or overall enjoyment.
The original Phil Cartwright hard case remains perfectly serviceable. It has some light paint marks to the exterior, which will clean off, and a small section of the interior lining has become loose. These are purely cosmetic issues and do not affect the protection the case provides.
