Banjo Ukulele Society

Celebrating the banjo uke – in music, history, and friendship.

Banjo Ukulele Society

The Banjo Ukulele Society (B.U.S) was founded by Alan Yates Music as a community hub — a space to give players and enthusiasts a friendly place to connect, share music, and celebrate the instrument.

In-Person Events

From informal meet-ups to larger organised occasions, the community is there to keep the banjo-uke alive and thriving.

Come and join the Banjo Ukulele Society in Blackpool and celebrate ‘World Banjo Ukulele Day’ as well as the 3rd birthday of B.U.S.

19th November is World Banjo Ukulele Day, a day to be observed around the globe.

World Banjo Ukulele Day celebrates the instrument, the music, the players, and its history.

Community Hub

To keep things simple and accessible anytime of day or night, most activity happens through the private BUS Facebook group. This allows members from across the world to share videos, photos, and discussions in one easy-to-use place.
